Returns & Refunds

At The Hangman®, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our work and the products we endorse. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment and have stringent quality control policies in place to ensure that your ordered products are as they should be, defect free and uncompromised in every respect.

Upon Ordering
You are able to change and amend your product order in your shopping cart up to the point at which you finalize payment arrangements in the final stage of the Express Checkout page. No products selected and placed in your cart or as part of your wishlist are viewed as ordered until the purchasing process is fully completed.

Upon Delivery
Upon receipt please inspect your purchase and notify us within 24 hrs if you have received an incorrect or defective item. You can do so by e-mailing Customer Care or phoning our Customer Services Department during office hours on 0861 0861 02. We will gladly replace any incorrectly delivered or defective items free of charge, subject to the conditions of this 'Returns & Refunds' policy.

Returns or Exchanges
Once you have taken satisfactory delivery of your goods, refunds or exchanges can only be given on the following basis: Items must be unused and returned in the original packaging, in the same condition in which it was originally shipped, within 7 working days after the day on which you received the goods you ordered.

Items must be returned to us, or collection arrangements made, promptly at your cost. If we collect the item from you we will charge a non-refundable collection fee. If you choose to use an approved courier please note that The Hangman® does not accept responsibility for the loss of products at any time. It is therefore advisable to ensure that all returning products are insured during transit.

Please note that The Hangman® will not refund original or return shipping costs, handling or insurance charges, or, if applicable, import or export duties or any other fees or charges imposed by any government agencies or officials whatsoever.

Upon Receipt
The Hangman® reserves the right to inspect the condition and contents of the returned product/s and adjust refund amounts according to the conditions described herein:

1. In the event you return only a portion of the product, your refund shall be reduced by the purchase price of the non-returned portion of the product and may be withheld pending the complete return of the product.
2. Refunds shall be reduced and may be withheld if returned products show evidence (as determined by The Hangman® management) of damage due to careless handling, improper re-packaging, transit or impact damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, acts of nature, unusual temperatures or humidity, improper installation, or repairs attempted where such repairs were made without The Hangman® approval.

If applicable please retain your shipping information, including tracking numbers, until your request for refund has been fully processed as this will serve as your proof of return.

Refunds on Returns
Please allow for at least 7 days to process your refund once we have received your goods. The refund will be credited to the relevant payment account only. If you have an e-mail address we will send you confirmation of your refund.

Orders Returned After 10 Days
Orders returned later than 10 days after receipt of delivery will receive only a partial refund the value of which to be determined at the sole and exclusive discretion of the The Hangman® management team.
